The Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) acts in a quasi-judicial capacity. Members are recommended by the Stafford County Board of Supervisors (BOS) and appointed by the Circuit Court. The BZA has jurisdiction to act on appeals, variances, and special exceptions and may further impose conditions deemed necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the public as authorized by law.
