Stafford Board of Supervisors Plan for Year Ahead

January 12, 2022 - The Stafford Board of Supervisors held its annual organizational meeting on January 11, 2022. The first order of business was to elect a new Chairman and Vice Chairman, something the Board does annually. Crystal Vanuch of the Rock Hill District, pictured to the left below, will serve her second term as Chairman. The Vice Chairman is Pamela Yeung of the Garrisonville District, on the right below, and she is the first Black person to serve as Vice Chairman.  

Crystal Vanuchpamela“We must continue to prioritize Healthy Growth,  Responsive Transportation and Dedicated Public Safety as our population increases and with the backdrop of a pandemic,” said Chairman Vanuch, Rock Hill District. “Our challenge is to keep improving the things that are working and finding solutions for those that are not.”

The Board welcomed three new supervisors for their first meeting: Monica Gary, Aquia District; Pam Yeung, Garrisonville District; and Darrell English, Hartwood District. Ms. Yeung comes from serving on the Stafford County School Board last year, and Mr. English is a part-time Sheriff’s deputy, retired from the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
