Residents near 53 Shelton Shop Road will experience some traffic due to road construction. From 9:00 a.m. through 3:30 p.m., the Northbound lane of Shelton Shop Road will be closed directly in front of Fire Station 14 at 53 Shelton Shop Road. Traffic in this section of the road will share the Southbound lane under control of a flagging operation.
In addition to the above closure, that same evening, intermittent lane closures will be at the intersection of Garrisonville Road and Shelton Shop Road to work on traffic signals. Work will begin at 7:00 p.m. and last through the completion of the project, which will be no later than 6:00 a.m. on October 22. Traffic on Garrisonville Road and traffic approaching the intersection from Shelton Shop Road will be reduced to one travel lane in each direction using temporary traffic control measures.
