COVID-19 Historical Updates

May 2021 Update:
Stafford County Board of Supervisors adopt Emergency Ordinance E021-01 to temporarily lower penalties and interest to zero through July 6, 2021, for Real Estate and Personal Property taxes due June 5, 2021.

December 2020 update:

Stafford County Board of Supervisors adopted Emergency Ordinance EO20-05 to temporarily lower penalties and interest to zero through January 29th, 2021 for Real Estate and Personal property taxes due December 5th, 2020.

June 2020 update:
In response to the continued economic uncertainties our taxpayers face, the Board of Supervisors adopted Emergency Ordinance EO20-04 to temporarily lower penalties and interest to zero through July 5th, 2020 for Real Estate taxes due June 5th, 2020.

May 2020 update:
To assist the taxpayers during the Coronavirus pandemic the Board of Supervisors adopted Emergency Ordinance EO20-02, to temporarily lower penalties and interest to zero through July 5th, 2020 for Personal property taxes due June 5th, 2020.
