Project Description:
This project involves the design and construction of a two million gallon elevated water tank to facilitate the movement of water south to north in the County. It is part of a group of projects that are aimed at improving finished water flow and delivery to the northern and eastern portions of Stafford County’s public water system. It will also provide a second storage facility in the 342 pressure zone, complementing the Grafton water tank (behind Grafton Elementary)
The tank will be located adjacent to the current Abel Lake Water Reservoir and pumping station.
Traffic impacts:
Drivers along Enon Road between I-95 and Truslow Road should be aware of construction traffic causing short stoppages throughout standard working hours as it turns into the site. Both approaches to the construction site entrance have limited visibility.
