Claiborne Run Force Main – Phase 1B
Project Description:
This project involves the design and construction of 11,000 linear foot 24” diameter sanitary sewer force main to serve the Claiborne Run and Falls Run pump stations in southern Stafford County. It is the second part of a three project group to provide redundancy and efficiency to the sanitary sewer pumping system, which includes two of the County’s largest sewage pump stations, Falls Run and Claiborne Run.

- Falls Run Force Main – under design
Segment 1: Rumford Road to east of Ferry Road
Traffic impacts:
Drivers along Route 3 between I-95 and Truslow Road should be aware of construction traffic causing short stoppages throughout standard working hours as it turns into the site. Both approaches to the construction site entrance have limited visibility.
Segment 2: West of Ferry Road to Naomi Rd/CSX railroad crossing
