Intergovernmental Affairs Manager
The Office of Intergovernmental Affairs (IGA) is responsible for informing the Board of Supervisors and County Administrator of the impact of legislation before Congress and the Virginia General Assembly. IGA maintains lines of communication with Stafford’s representatives in Congress and the Virginia General Assembly to keep them informed about the needs, interests, and initiatives of the County and to strengthen the local, state, and federal partnership. The office routinely communicates with intergovernmental organizations. IGA also assists the Board of Supervisors with casework requests and coordinates grant activities for the County Administrator.
