Volunteer Services
Volunteer ServicesCitizen’s Assistance is responsible for a CAST of volunteers (Citizens Assisting Stafford Together) who serve in many areas of our local government. They cover areas such as customer service phone calls, walking and caring for the animals in the shelter, throwing parties for preschoolers in Parks and Recreation, directing traffic and entering information for the Sheriff’s office, creating safety plans for Fire and Rescue, inspecting buildings in Public Works, helping someone apply for a job in Human Resources, and directing people to the right courtroom in the courthouse. Without these volunteers, the county would not be able to provide the extent of services that it does. Volunteers are required to be 18 years of age or older.  You may contact us for youth volunteer opportunities within the community.

Assistance and Customer Service
The Citizen Assistance office also provides help for citizens seeking information on County or consumer issues. We provide an in-house resource for departments with customer service needs.
