Construction and Delivery of the Claiborne Run Bridge Project for the Stafford County Department of Utilities

The project will include, but not limited to, the construction and delivery of a single lane, HL93 rated bridge span approximately 75 feet in length with an interior clear dimension of 14 feet, and depth of structure not to exceed 40” as measured from wearing surface to bottom cord.  The bridge is to be designed in accordance with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, 5th Edition, and fabricated in accordance with AISC Certified Bridge Fabrication – Intermediate (Major Bridge). All fabricators shall be endorsed/certified AISC – Fracture Critical.  The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, and transportation required to manufacture and deliver the bridge at the prescribed location of 204 Thompson Avenue and Claiborne Run in Chatham Heights, Virginia 22405.
