Due to an anticipated large public participation in tomorrow’s Stafford Board of Supervisors meeting and the continued threat of Coronavirus, Stafford will modify its method of conducting business. The George L. Gordon, Jr., Government Center, as well as other offices and departments in the county, will close to the public at 2:30 p.m., with the exception of those who would like to provide comments at the 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Board meetings. The public is encouraged to provide written comments by visiting www.staffordcountyva.gov/publichearings as an alternative to attending in person.
The early closing will allow employees and visitors doing business to minimize possible Coronavirus exposure with potential large crowds who may assemble for public comment at the Board meeting. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Our goal is to protect the health of our public and our employees.
