Board of Supervisors Budget Meetings
All Board budget work sessions will be held in accordance with the ten-person social distancing rules. Dates and times of meetings are listed on the County website under Public Meetings. The meetings will be streamed live on the County’s website, public access channel and Facebook (@staffordcountygovernment).
All park facilities are closed. Outdoor parks will remain open, but amenities such as restrooms, pavilions, playgrounds and other non-trail associated structures will not be available.
Please Do Not Flush Wipes
At this time, toilet paper is hard to find, and many Stafford Utilities customers are using alternatives like toilet wipes and baby wipes. Despite touts that they are flushable, wipes clog systems and could cause expensive repairs for Utilities infrastructure. Please flush only toilet paper.
Stafford is quickly exhausting supplies of N95 masks and surgical masks. State and federal authorities do not expect to be able to meet the needs of all localities. In a proactive move, Stafford is asking for businesses to donate any N95 masks or commercial masks they are not using to Stafford County. The masks will be used by Fire and Rescue and the Sheriff’s Office as well as given to our community health partners. We are also asking anyone who sews to consider sewing masks for donations. You may find a link to Mary Washington Healthcare-approved mask instructions here. Donations may be delivered to the Fire and Rescue Training Center at 1326 Courthouse Road, Stafford, VA 22554, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Team Rubicon, a local veterans disaster relief group, and members of public safety, will pick up any masks also. You may ask for pickup by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that Mary Washington Healthcare has updated its specifications for masks. The new instructions may be found here.
