Commissioner of the Revenue

As the Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, continues to be a growing concern across our community and the country, the Stafford County Commissioner of the Revenue office will open to the public effective May 15th.

We are committed to not only provide you with outstanding customer service but to protecting your health.  County staff will be limiting the number of customers in the building, requiring temperature checks and recommending that you wear facemasks.  We strongly encourage you to visit our taxpayer services
page prior to planning a trip to our office.  We are here to serve you online, on the phone and in person.

The mission of the Commissioner’s office is to serve the citizens of Stafford County by providing the highest level of customer service, integrity and fiscal responsibility. We will apply fairly, uniformly and impartially the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the County of Stafford, while remaining accountable to the citizens of Stafford.
