342-05 Pressure Zone Upgrade Project

DESCRIPTION: 

The purpose of this project is to improve and upgrade the county water system in this region. This project includes the installation of approximately 6,500 feet of water main. 

  • Segment A: South along Beagle Road (Route 763) from Truslow to Falls Run Creek
  • Segment B: South along Old Forge Road (Route 1580) starting from Route 17 to Ironcasting Road.

Budget: $2.8M 

SCHEDULE: 

  • Contract Executed - Fall 2019
  • Construction Start Scheduled - Spring 2020
  • Projected Completion Scheduled - Fall 2020

Segment A: South along Beagle Road (Route 763) from Truslow to Falls  Run Creek

The map below is the portion of the water main installation project along Beagle Road (Route 763) starting from Truslow Road (Route 652) to the end of State maintenance. 

  • Construction Start Scheduled - Spring 2020
  • Project Completion Scheduled- Fall 2020

UPDATE February 2020: 

  • The water system improvements along Beagle Road are within the state Right-of-Way or dedicated easements. 
  • Residents can expect construction activities along Beagle Road which include; heavy equipment and vehicle traffic, paving operations, noise and temporary traffic impacts during normal business hours.

Segment B: South along Old Forge Drive (Route 1580) from Route 17 to Ironcasting Road

The map below is the portion of the water main installation project along Old Forge (Route 1580) starting from Route 17  to Ironcasting Road. 

  • Construction Start Scheduled- Spring 2020
  • Project Completion Scheduled- Fall 2020
