Jefferson Davis Highway (US-1) from Telegraph Road to Woodstock Lane Safety Improvements
Purpose
This project seeks to improve the safety of two sequential intersections, Telegraph Road (Route 637) and Woodstock Lane (Route 639) along a portion of Jefferson Davis Highway (US-1). The project will realign the intersection of US-1 and Telegraph Road to eliminate the skewed intersection and install a permanent traffic signal. The intersection with Woodstock Lane will be channelized, eliminating left turns exiting Woodstock Lane onto US-1 southbound. In order to travel southbound on US-1, traffic will have to utilize the new traffic signal at Telegraph Road
