Citizens Academy

citizens-academyStafford County officials host a series of classes for citizens interested in learning how their local government operates.  The “Citizens Academy” topics include the Board of Supervisors, key departments, the County budget, history and tourism.  

All classes run from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, once a week.  The last class includes a tour of the Public Safety Center.  Classes are held at the Government Center at 1300 Courthouse Road in Stafford.  

There is no charge for this program. 

NEXT SESSION:

The “Stafford County Citizens Academy” will run once a week on Thursday evenings from Oct. 5– Oct 25, 2018.  Topics will cover the Board of Supervisors, key departments, the County budget, and history and tourism. The last class will also include a tour of the Public Safety Center.
