Stafford County has integrated its online application system, Dynamic Portal, with its electronic plan review software, ePlans, to allow you to skip the line and apply for building permits online.  

With Dynamic Portal you can:

  • Apply for a building permit;
  • Pay permit fees;
  • Check review status;
  • Schedule or cancel inspections;
  • Check inspection times.

With ePlans you can:

  • Upload drawings and documents for review;
  • Track and view comments;
  • Manage file versions and tasks;
  • Communicate with and receive notifications from County staff;
  • Download and print final approved plans.
