2017 Rabies Clinic

Stafford County Animal Control is hosting a Rabies Clinic, offering rabies shots at a great value.  
Dogs and cats welcome!  Dogs must be on leash, and cats must be in carriers.  Animals must be at least 4 months of age.  Non-county residents are also welcome.

A limited quantity of rabies tags are available for the clinic. 
To guarantee a vaccination for your animal, pre-register
 with the Stafford County Treasurer's Office.  Now through Monday, April 3rd, 2017, visit the Treasurer's Office between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.  If you are registering your dogs, you may also pre-pay for a 1-year County Dog License at the same time.  If you wish to purchase a 3-year dog license, you may do so on or after the day of the clinic.  The Treasurer's Office will hold the rabies and dog license tags until the day of the clinic.

What to bring for In-Person Pre-Registration in the Treasurer's Office:
Proof of spay/neuter (dogs only)
If applying for a County Dog License at pre-registration, you must provide proof of spay/neuter in order to receive a discounted dog license
Cash, Check, Money Order, or Credit/Debit Cards 
Payment must be made at the time of pre-registration.  There will be no refunds in the event that you pre-register and cannot make the clinic.

What to bring the day of the clinic:
A copy of your animals' vaccination history
Three year rabies tags will be available with proof of prior rabies vaccinations. If no proof is available or if the rabies vaccination has expired by more than one month, a one year rabies tag will be issued.
A copy of your pre-registration receipt
Print your receipt from your online registration or you will be given a receipt when you pre-register in the Treasurer's Office.
